NinjaTrader 8 Data Providers for 2025
Two Types of Data Providers
NinjaTrader supports data from brokers as well as independent market data providers.
Broker-Supplied Data Feeds
If you trade through a supported broker, you can use their market data. The most popular option for Futures data for those trading with NinjaTrader is to use the NinjaTrader data feed. Other options are available but you have to pay a fee to use them (unless you own an old NinjaTrader license).
Standalone Data Feeds
These fees will probably be much higher (for the same data). If the company isn't making money by having you trade through them (as in the case with broker-supplied data) you will be paying a lot more for the same data. Generally it's usually cheaper to get money through your broker if it's offered. Other standalone data services can be offered through Kinetick, Rithmic, CQG, BarChart etc.

Data Providers: Trials for NinjaTrader
